In Orange County California, I worked with director Julian Buchan and musician Mia Folick to create a world split between bleachers and an abandoned military base. I shaped Mia’s movement into a series of duplicates, each one a distinct character with its own gesture and presence. Arcs of water became sculptural elements, binding the figures into layered compositions. On the bleachers, Fanta, Coke, and candies added a playful nod to American youth.
